Chiropractor

Dr. Lauren Moroney

Hi, I’m Lauren!

I grew up in Haberfield, Sydney and graduated from Macquarie and Sydney Universities to attain my Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic degree in 2005. I have worked as a Radiographer, Massage therapist and Chiropractic assistant whilst completing my University qualifications. I initially started out of Uni practising in the North Shore, then I worked for 10 years in Mortdale, then in Lugarno. I enjoyed working in different places in Sydney.

I practice a variety of Chiropractic techniques including Activator, Torque Release Technique (TRT), Flexion Distraction, SOT, Webster technique for pregnancy, Diversified and NIP (Neuro Impulse Protocol). I have studied paediatric techniques for treating children, and women during pregnancy, and I am able to mould orthotics for the feet.

I live in Port Macquarie with my husband and two children.

I look forward to seeing you in the clinic!

Chiropractor

Dr. Regan Wilson

Hi, I’m Regan!
I was born and raised in New Zealand until the age of 14 then my family and I moved to Sydney in 2001. During my time in Sydney, I had observed there was a keen public awareness of health and fitness, thus influencing my first stage career path as a Personal trainer which eventually led me to my passion in Chiropractic.

I have a sporting background competing in kickboxing, boxing, Brazilian ju-jitsu and MMA at a professional level. I found Chiropractic had greatly improved not only my physical body, but also the mental aspects required during training, competition and everyday life. I wanted to share this with others.

Throughout my career, I have gained experience with a broad array of patients, from babies to the elderly. A normal day has me assessing and treating a 4-month-old, a strong 40-year-old male, a pregnant woman and then an 80-year-old, all with the goal to build and improve quality of life.

In October 2019, I became a Dad to Braeden. Braeden was a quick catalyst for me to further explore how Chiropractic could support Braeden’s growing needs and quality of life firsthand as a Dad and practitioner.

Understanding the importance of Chiropractic care to any individual’s health and wellbeing, which is not only limited to pain but also to optimising quality of life, I will assist you in achieving your goals through motivation, education and movement. I have a hands-on approach, using the latest evidence-based research with various soft tissue techniques tailored with specified adjustments, alongside educational advice.

I am looking forward to meeting and working with you!

Chiropractor

Dr. Luke Nisbett

Luke and his wife have always loved the mid north coast and everything that it has on offer. When the opportunity to work at Lake Road Chiropractic came up, Luke was keen to make the move to establish life with his wife and kids, and use his skills as a Chiropractor to help support the Port Macquarie community.

Luke graduated from Macquarie University in 2013, where he took a graduate position with Health Space and worked with patients in the Northern Beaches community for 9 years straight. Luke is now the owner of Health Space Mona Vale and Pyrmont clinics and played a vital role in building Health Space Clinics into one of the largest multi-disciplinary health groups in Australia. He can now manage these Clinics from afar which has given him, and his family, the amazing opportunity to move North and practice at Lake Road Chiropractic.

Luke uses a combination of different techniques, from low force Activator, Thompson, to more manual based Diversified, Gonstead and Active Muscle Releases. This is all adapted depending on the clients’ desires and needs.

Luke is trained in DNS (dynamic neuromuscular stabilisation), which at time, gets his clients off the table to practice certain core exercises, diaphragm and training techniques.

This flexibility allows Luke to see clients of all ages and backgrounds from paediatrics, pregnancy, to athletes, the elderly and weekend warriors.

Since graduating Luke has spent countless hours learning new skills and staying up to date with the most recent health guidelines and evidence. He has participated in research at Charles Sturt University, with the Australian Kayaking squad, assessing the benefit of Adjustments on their biomechanics.

Over the last few years an emerging passion in Luke’s life has been with the ‘Giving Health Foundation’ providing health services and education in the slums of Manila, empowering several communities to adopt their ‘stroke and diabetes prevention program’, and setting up street clinics to Adjust underprivileged communities.

Luke’s keen interest in sports such as Rugby, Cricket and Surfing have motivated him to pursue working with elite athletes. Luke is currently on the WSL (world surfing league) medical mentoring program and works the Manly and Avoca Qualifying events, supporting Surf Pro’s.

It is obvious that Luke’s personality and values represents the way he practices, always there for his clients, putting them first, and willing to go the extra mile to help.
